Kingaroy BaconFest is a sizzling food festival, supported by SunPork Fresh Foods. It’s a celebration of all that you love about the pig and puts bacon and pork on centre stage.

Enjoy our two-day food market where every vendor has bacon or pork on the menu, explore the South Burnett’s local wine and produce and embrace the fun and quirky nature of this event. Punters can look forward to cooking demonstrations by Australia’s favourite Spaniard, pig-loving celebrity chef Miguel Maestre, Hervey Bay locals Dan and Steph and local ingredient passionate Matt Golinski

There will be live music on the main stage throughout the day, photo opportunities with BaconMan, a Bacon Eating Competition and even a BaconFest Pin-Up Pageant and Best Beard of BaconFest competition. Visit the Little Piggies children’s area for under 12s or purchase local produce from the South Burnett Flavours Farmers Market and Farm2Fork Collective.

For those who love ‘low and slow’, BaconFest hosts the SunPork Smoke-Off, an official round of the Australasian BBQ Alliance Championship Series in 2022 and if craft is your thing, head to O’Neill Square, a free Bacon Community Artisan Market, a short walk from the BaconFest precinct.

BaconFest Cancellation Policy: BaconFest reserves the right to process reasonable refunds before and after this event. If this event is impacted adversely by coronavirus, each ticket holder will be notified with the option to be refunded (minus ticket fees) at the discretion of BaconFest.

Responsible Service of Alcohol laws will be strictly adhered to. Holding a ticket does not entitle you to a drink if you are deemed intoxicated by bar staff managing the Beer and Wine Garden. The Committee, sponsors and landowners hold no responsibility for the damage of property or persons before, during and after the event.

***The Festival is an all-weather event. It will continue in rain, hail or shine unless the conditions are deemed unsafe to continue. No refunds will be made if you choose not to attend due to inclement weather.
