Hong Kong Australia Business Association (HKABA) Queensland Chapter is organizing the "Innovation and Tech Show Brisbane 2023" from October 19th to 20th, 2023. We will have over 30 exhibitors from Hong Kong participating.

This event aims to bring Hong Kong SME tech innovators and industry representatives to Brisbane, showcasing their businesses and providing a platform for Brisbane businesses and exporters to connect with Hong Kong tech SMEs. Through this event, we aim to promote technological advancement and information exchange to foster bilateral trade and investment between Brisbane and Hong Kong. Additionally, the event will highlight Brisbane as a business destination and an emerging technology hub, positioning the city on a global stage as an attractive destination for tech innovation, startups, and investments. It will also offer local Brisbane businesses an opportunity to showcase their innovative solutions and services to an international audience, facilitating potential business partnerships and customer relationships. Furthermore, by hosting this international tech show, Brisbane reaffirms its commitment to innovation and technology, which can attract future businesses and skilled workers to the city.

The HKABA is supported by the Hong Kong SAR government and has established relationships with the Hong Kong Economic Trade Office and the Hong Kong Trade Development Council, which offer various support measures for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). These incentives encourage SMEs to expand overseas, seek investment opportunities, and establish global partnerships. We believe that the Innovation and Technology Show will be a perfect platform for these SMEs to explore the Australian market, particularly in Brisbane, and identify potential collaboration opportunities.
